Love them or hate them, you can’t argue that the humble Magpie is so undeniably Aussie!
I wanted to make this piece really hit you in the face with the super fun and vibrant backdrop of the Australian bottle brush flower. I just had to make this bird totally stunning looking to hopefully appeal to even those who aren’t a fan of this Aussie bird.
Since painting this piece I have a new appreciation for the Magpie and I am a totally converted magpie lover!
